Members Benefits Being a member of E.L.L.A offers many benefits, not least the peace of mined that you are backed by a reputable organisation. The Association is run by enthusiastic team of experienced members, who have a wide range experience in a diversity of professions, as well as being land lords. The primary purpose is to provide effective representation to negotiate with statutory and other bodies on matters of common interest and to protect and promote the interests of landlords. Additionally we organise regular meetings and newsletters. Information and Help E.L.L.A. offers direct advantage to you as an individual landlord, whilst representing the concerns of all landlords by direct negotiation with Local Authorities and Rent Service. It keeps you informed of the latest legislation through regular network meetings and advice forums. Information and advice are also available via a helpline. NFRL Licensing Helpline This will be to deal with all matters relating to issues arising from the 2004 Housing Act (Licensing, Deposits and HHSRS). Membership entitles you to preferential insurance rates on residential properties through Alan Boswell Insurance Brokers, with policy underwritten by Norwich Union. Most members save in excess of their membership fee by taking advantage of these excellent rates, not available to non-members. Networking Our aim is to network with landlords in the area and with the National Federation of Residential Landlords, offering information and advice.
